News - November 2008 - Well done Lucy!

Lucy 1305 has attempted (and successfully completed!) the Inca Trail in Peru. She hiked 45 km starting at more than 3000 metres altitude over 3 days. Beginning at a small town called Cusco she climbed up Dead Woman's Pass, so-called for obvious reasons, and tackled steep hills- straight up and down sometimes- for the duration. Lucy is delighted with the fundraising so far and has nearly reached her target of £1000, but is seeking a little extra help to get to the golden mark...

Live Music night - October 25th 2008

An Evening of Live Music, Hog-Roast & Auction of Promises in aid of Chelmsford & Mid Essex Samaritans was held on 25th October

This was a great success which was hugely enjoyable and raised a significant sum.

Thanks to all who worked so hard to put it on and to everyone who came along

News - 2008 V festival

The SamVan was at the V Festival in Chelmsfords Hylands Park on both the 16th and 17th of August 2008 in the Welfare area.

We had a significant number of contacts, not all of whom wanted the play list!

This is an annual event for us, watch out for our Van in 2009..
